Long, long, ago,

My family played an integral role in the independence of Haiti. I carry on the legacy of seeking to advance the quality of life of the people of Haiti as well as work to secure human rights that are barely recognized by their own government.

The first project I embarked on was to provide access to education. In 2008 my family built the largest preliminary school in Léogâne, Haiti. The quality of education that was provided at Colline Academy was unheard of in the community. We provided a contemporary school curriculum and a very talented, motivated and educated staff of teachers. After the earthquake everything was lost. But, my family intends to rebuild.

This time, the school will be more than just a place to receive an education. Now that half of the population of Haiti is under 21 years old, Colline Foundation intends to produce the future leaders of Haiti. With initiatives like "Haiti Volunteer Trip", "The Buy One Brick Campaign" and "Haiti Trip Logistics" we will work towards providing the children of La Colline with a brighter future.
